Nikkiso’s CRRT, The Aquarius™ System, is safe and easy to use as the system alerts clinicians if an out-of-range condition occurs, while simultaneously responding automatically to help ensure safety. With a rotating head, the screen displaying illustrations of the set-up guides, detailed alarm messaging and error help menus are displayed, can be viewed from multiple position, aiding in easy monitoring. It is integrated with a fluid warmer, to heat the replacement solution ensuring that the patients receive fluid closer to normal body temperature. Since the Aquarius system has two rotating scales for connecting two to 20 liter, less intervention is required for the nurse to change the bags. The Aquarius™ System is equipped with an Automatic Total Fluid Loss Management (TFL), a patented function that has been developed to prevent and compensate potential fluid gain or loss, the only system that has the capability to continuously mitigate fluid loss discrepancies. Additionally, the Renal Dose displayed on the main screen is the actual dose delivered, enabling the user to be fully aware of the treatment dose achieved.
